January 12, 2021 Walk to Research Station

I didn't walk around the pond today because when I was walking down to lane to the park I noticed about 10 cars parked in a circle. There were students standing around in little groups. There was only one girl. One of the boys was getting very close to her. They were not wearing masks. During COVID I thought that this was strange. I didn't take a picture because I didn't want anyone to notice me. I thought I should call someone, but I didn't have the Lacombe police department on my phone and to call 911 would be a little over the top. When I got home I checked out what I should do. I was supposed to call the Environmental Health Department (Health Inspectors). When I called there was just a message and I was supposed to leave my address and phone number. I went online and it said I needed to leave all my personal information before they would talk to me.

I told Larry about it. He took a map I gave him to the Police Station to let them know. They were not interested. The lady at the front said it was not her job.

Now I hesitate to go to the pond at least at 4PM. I will walk there in the morning when it gets warmer. It is now January 26 and it is -20C.
